Hannah Stevens MS, LPC, LMFT

Therapist

Welcome! My name is Hannah Stevens, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in Minnesota and Oregon. I have over five years of experience working with individuals, families, and couples.  My services are offered virtually and in our Minneapolis office.

I work with individuals who are looking for relief from anxiety, depression, trauma, or addictions or are searching for ways to cope with challenging life transitions. Together, we will work to identify parts of yourself that are creating suffering and increase moments of joy in your life.

I also work with couples who have been feeling stuck in the same patterns, disconnected from each other, and have difficulty communicating. I support my couples in reconnecting with each other and building skills that strengthen attachment.

My philosophy is to be genuine and transparent. I emphasize creating a strong relationship with you, so we can create a safe and supportive space to meet your goals. I believe that therapy can be a tool to provide support to grow and meet life’s challenges. Feeling stuck in the same patterns in life and in relationships is common, and therapy can help identify and change those detrimental patterns. I use a systemic approach which means that I believe the context of your life is important, and that you are the expert on what is best for you. I use Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside, biking, playing board games with friends, and cooking. I have recently moved from Oregon to Minnesota and I am excited to try some new winter activities.

I look forward to meeting you, and learning more about how we can create positive change together!
