I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota and I integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Seeking Safety in my therapy practice.
I work with adults who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors and I have a particular passion for working with relational trauma and grief.
I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the most valuable component of the therapy process and that it is established when a person feels deeply seen and heard, truly ‘held’ in the therapy space. As a therapist, I work to balance both validation and support with identifying opportunities for growth and change. I believe that the goal of therapy is to reduce problematic symptoms and increase alignment with your individual values.
I have daytime availability and offer all sessions virtually.
