Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota and Colorado and have over 10 years of experience providing therapy for individuals and relationships. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is an evidence based therapy for the effective treatment of trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, phobias, and addiction. I am also a Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor for licensees in training and can offer supervision sessions for individuals or dyads. I offer services in person and online.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and inclusive. I truly value who you are and the wisdom you hold about your own life. Working with clients is a genuine privilege, as I watch them learn to understand their own needs, strengths, and how to pave the way towards feeling their best. Our sessions will help you feel safe and supported on your journey of self-exploration, reflection, and building your courage to stretch beyond your comfort zone.
Individuals - We all possess our own power to create change towards achieving greater peace and contentment. Sometimes we feel as though we are unable to pursue our own path to happiness due to depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, fear, trauma, or societal or relationship pressures. Together, we’ll examine what’s holding you back and how to help you think, feel, and respond differently.
Relationships - We are relational beings who thrive when well connected with the significant people in our world. Together, we’ll work to strengthen your relationship by learning to identify and change unhelpful relational patterns, so that you can feel better understood and more closely connected. I support all consensual relationships and orientations.
When I’m not in the office, my favorite way to spend time is local adventuring with my partner and preschooler. I have traveled through many parts of the world and have lived in Mexico City and Saigon. I love exploring new places, both near and far, especially when my family and food are a part of the journey!
